Why did you choose to be an artist/designer?
I have always been a creative person and enjoy the whole development process. I am a full time Architect and painting is just an extension of this.
What medium do you work in?
Acrylic, Watercolours and Pastels however, I like to experiment with various different mediums
What's your background, have you always been an artist/designer?
I am not a full time artist although I would like to be, I am an architect. Painting is completely different as its a far more fluid process than architecture
How has your practice changed over time?
I now paint more than I ever did and the more I do the more my technique is changing I am far less strict about accurately representing what I see
How and when did you started creating?
I have enjoyed art and creating things all my life it was my favourite subject in School
How would you describe your creations?Realistic, fun, inspiring

What inspires you? There is a beauty in almost everything, nature, wildlife and people.

Do you think art can have an impact in the local community?
Yes art can have an amazing impact on the local community, bringing people together and the benefits of positive mental wellbeing through art are well documented.
Who are your biggest influences?
I appreciate the merits of a variety of different artists, designers and architects, from traditionalists to modern innovations and everything in between.
Which current art do you think is having an impact in the world right now?
Art is a form of escapism. Creating art, tuning into the simpler things in life due to the current situation can help people cope in uncertain times.

What difference has working with SDX made to your business?
SDX has helped to promote my business and get my name recognised. I have even sent pieces to America as a result of working with SDX
